Q: What is included in your rental fee?

A: Use of five acres with a pond, deck and alter under a 200 year old Oak tree Friday at 12 p.m. to Sunday at 2 p.m.; historical buildings as a rustic backdrop for photographs; large grassy area for a tent, tables, and chairs; parking attendant and venue manager for the day; Corn-hole and fire-pit areas. For a guest count over 100 additional tables and chairs can be rented. Email your date, number of guests and budget and we will get back with you on options.

Q: Do you require wedding/event insurance?

A: Yes! Please find a list of recommended policies here.

Q: What are the hours of operation for weddings?

A: All events must end no later than 10:00 p.m. in the summer; by 9:00 p.m. in late fall. If the ceremony is held onsite the rental includes 10 hours each day.

Q: Are there things to do nearby?

A: Yes! Please find a list of places to golf, shop, hike, fish, swim, and eat here.

Q: How many people can the space seat? 

A: That depends on your tent size.

Q: What if it’s really hot on my wedding day?

A: We are happy to work with you to make it enjoyable for you and your guests. There are options for fans available for an additional fee.

Q: Can we take photos around the grounds, where we want to?

A: Yes. However, some of our houses are rented by long-term tenants. The area where the ceremonies take place is available for you to explore. You can tag @stowersfarm on Instagram and @1826atstowersfarm on Facebook. Our hashtag is #1826farm

Q: Do you have a space for getting ready?

A: We are working on our guest house to make it available for your bridal party. For the groom and his group, there are several hotels 3 miles south of us on 400.

Q: Do you provide restrooms?

A: We include climate-controlled trailered restrooms or flushable portable restrooms in your package.

Q: Do you have tables & chairs?

A: Available to you are six rectangular tables with linens, round tables, and chairs for approximately 100 guests. For additional guests, we can add tables and chairs to the base price.

Q: What are our bar options?

A: All events must comply with the Georgia State liquor laws. You, a bartender or caterer provide all libations, and the bartender/caterer must be licensed to pour at events.
